ABOUT DEVON MANNEY

hey there!

i’m devon manney and i’m a filmmaker + artist + writer based in NYC.

after growing up in northern minnesota, i studied animation at the usc school of cinematic arts in los angeles, where my thesis film CRADLE was shortlisted for the oscar® for best animated short film (in addition to winning a student academy award and an annie award nomination).

since then, i’ve been working as a story artist and animator for studios like paramount, dreamworks, and for a variety of commercial studios and freelance projects (as well as continuing to develop and write my own projects).

i also enjoy working in freelance and volunteer capacities within the design and communications realm for leftist organizations and causes.

if you are in need of a storyboard artist/designer/animator/excitable-scamp for a project, want to explore more collaborative work, or if you just want to learn more about me), contact me anytime at devon (at) devonm.com!
